This policy explains what information the Heed app ("Heed", "the app", "we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. Heed is an attention-training app provided by SK95 Engineering AB ("the provider"), based in Sweden.

We built Heed to be private by default: there is no account, no login, and we never ask for your name, email, or contacts to use the app.

The short version

• No account, no sign-in. You can use every feature without giving us any personal identifiers.
• We collect pseudonymous usage analytics (through Google Firebase) to understand how the app is used and improve it.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites, do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), show no ads, and never sell or share your data with data brokers.
• Your training history stays on your device. Progress, favorites, and settings are stored locally and are not uploaded to us.
• Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment card details.

Information we collect

1. Usage and diagnostic analytics (via Google Firebase Analytics). To understand how Heed is used and to improve it, we collect pseudonymous, aggregated usage data tied to a random, app-generated identifier (a Firebase "app-instance ID") — not your name, email, or Apple ID. This includes:

• App activity — screens viewed; training sessions started, completed, or ended early; scenes and sounds selected, favorited, or previewed; reminders enabled; and paywall interactions.
• Purchase events — whether a purchase or restore succeeded, was cancelled, or failed, and which product was involved (used for revenue analytics).
• Preferences and engagement summaries — coarse, bucketed values such as an approximate count of sessions completed, chosen theme, text size, appearance mode, reminder setting, and self-declared familiarity level.
• Standard technical data Firebase records automatically — device model, operating-system version, app version, and coarse region/language. Your IP address may be used momentarily to estimate a general region and is not retained by us as a stored identifier.

We deliberately avoid recording free-text or sensitive inputs; analytics values are limited to the categories above.

2. Purchase information (via Apple). If you buy a subscription or the lifetime option, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment; we never receive your card number or billing address. We receive the product purchased, price, currency, and a transaction identifier so we can unlock premium features and report anonymized revenue analytics.

3. Information stored only on your device. Your training progress, favorites, muted/curated sounds, and app settings are stored locally on your device (via Apple's on-device storage). This data stays on your device and syncs only through your own iCloud/device backups if you have those enabled — we do not upload or receive it. You can erase it anytime with Settings → Reset all progress, or by deleting the app.

4. Notifications. If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. We do not operate a push server and do not receive your device push token. We do record the pseudonymous, aggregate event that "a reminder was opened" as part of the analytics above.
